On a trans-Pacific flight, a large civilian aircraft loses both engines. Their only chance of survival is to ditch the plane, in the middle of the ocean during the middle of the night.

After losing two engines, no one knows if the plane will crash or float, and if its passengers will float until they can be picked up by the Coast Guard or have to fight off sharks.

Based on true events, this 'Titanic-in-the-sky' story follows the flight crew and passengers on the last leg of their flight and subsequent fight for survival.
